The head of the work on identifying the main features of Paleozoic volcanism in the Urals.

Head of the United Scientific Council on the Earth Sciences of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Member of the National Committee of Geologists of Russia and the Geological Society of America.

Author and co-author of more than 400 publications.

Awards: premium of Mining Congress of the Urals, Demidov Prize.
