The article presents the results of research carried out in the framework of grant of Russian science foundation: there are developed theoretical and methodological bases of geo-eco-socio-economic approach; it is supposed an algorithm of integrated environmental management based on it with the additional use of the ecosystem approach; it is developed a range of guidelines related to the formulation of social and environmental pre-investment studies.
