There is considered the electrothermal process of preparation of poor sulfide ores pieces size up to 100 mm for the subsequent grinding by method based on the rock destruction under the influence of electromagnetic wave energy of electric field. The calculation results are confirmed by experimental studies. The obtained dependences allow us to conclude that the electroprocessing of poor sulfide ores can significantly reduce the amount of processing of the rock mass, to reduce energy milling, to increase the concentration of minerals.
