Major research interests: thermal field of the Earth, geodynamics, paleotectonics, radioactive problems of the Urals and ecology, geophysical research methods


Specialist in the field of experimental geothermy. Together with Yu. P. Bulashevich, he firstly discovered and explained the negative anomaly of the heat flow in the Middle and Northern Urals.
